What is Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV)

Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV) happens when companies provide support and encouragement to their employees to enable them to participate in voluntary activities in their local communities.
As Corporate Social Responsibility becomes an increased priority amongst many employers, there has been a shift towards ESV. It is a vital aspect of corporate community involvement.
