Path Maintenance/Repairs
Any day or days, your choice, (subject to weather/numbers) from Fri 13 – Mon 16 August 2010
There’s still plenty to be done this summer to help keep the Ben track in reasonable shape. No special skills are needed, just reasonable fitness level and enthusiasm!
Lochaber Highland Games Stall
Help staff the Friends of Nevis stand at the Games on Sat 31 July. Volunteers will get a free entry band for the Games.
On our stall we’ll be raising awareness, encouraging people to join up as subscribers or volunteers, selling our small bits of FoN merchandise and selling the new book: Nevis the Ben and the Glen.
We have five further “entry wristbands” to offer our helpers and I could really do with some help for the following stints, 1 or 2 people for each:
09:00 for a couple of hours to set up and get started (games open to public from 10:00)
Mid morning till lunch, roughly 11 - 1
Lunch time period, roughly 12 – 2
Afternoon and/or putting it all down at the end (c. 4.30pm??)
