Volunteer Fair 

St. Andrew's Church Hall, Saturday 7th June.  Come and find out more about our local volunteering opportunities over a cup of coffee with a chance to do a bit browse some stalls and win some prizes.  Takes place from 10am to 3pm.

Volunteer Management Training Courses

13 May        Planning for Volunteer Involvement and     Effective Volunteer Recruitment  

20 May        Matching Volunteers to Tasks & Roles and     Increasing Volunteer Effectiveness Through Training &                                   Development 

29 May        Supporting & Supervising Skills and                Developing Diversity within a Volunteer Programme 

 4 June         Health & Safety and Risk Management in Volunteer Programmes  and Motivation, Retention & Development of Volunteers

11 June        Developing Volunteer Portfolios and Creating Positive Volunteer-Staff Relations

Each pair of courses costs £60 per person and includes, handouts etc.  Courses will be held at An Drochaid, Claggan.

FIRST AID 

First Aid - Appointed Person (1 day)

 A one-day course covering emergency and non-emergency first aid topics.

 5 June - £55

 HEALTH AND SAFETY

 Health & Safety A level 2 H&S course intended to give a basic grounding of the subject to those attending.  Includes manual handling.
