The Community Centre is on the main A96 through Nairn and is situated beside the Police Station. To park, turn into Viewfield Drive beside the Police Station. The Community Centre car park is the second turning on the right. Volunteering Highland office is on the 1st floor.

Tuesday 9.30am - 12.30pm

Services we Offer
Disclosures … registered intermediary for CRBS (Central Registered Body in Scotland), free registration and disclosures for volunteers, Trusted Partner status
Handyperson Scheme …a ‘one-off job’ around the house or garden, carried out by volunteers.
Volunteer Managers’ Network Meeting … every six weeks we exchange and share information with other volunteer co-ordinators in the area
Newsletter … we have a newsletter that goes out with up to date information regarding volunteering and local opportunities.
Raising Awareness of Volunteering … organise local events to help promote volunteering and its benefits, talks on volunteering and its benefits.
Good Practice … advice on policies for involving volunteers
ASDAN registered … assessment for Community Certificate in Volunteering
Local volunteering opportunities book … your leaflets and posters always needed.
MV awards... Open to anyone aged 16-25 years register with us and gain awards for 50, 100, 200 hours volunteering, recognised awards to go on your CV endorsed by the Scottish Executive.
Rickter Scale©.... A unique motivational assessment and evaluation package. The Development Officer is a qualified Rickter Scale practitioner and can provide advice/courses.
We are a very friendly centre and welcome anyone to pop in for a look at what is available in the area, and if there is something you would like to volunteer in and we don't have it on our opportunites book, our Development Officer will try and source an opportunity that will suit.
